To Our Community
In support of the fight for social justice and equal rights for the Black Community, we are committed to listening, learning, and taking action.
Here are our steps toward continued progress:
Anti-bias training designed to help understand personal bias and embrace differences will be required for all employees.
This will empower us to elevate and amplify the diverse voices of our employees to the entire organization.
We are establishing a Global Inclusion & Culture Advisory Council within our existing multicultural Diversity & Inclusion organization where we can amplify BIPOC voices inside our company and directly advise our Executive Leadership Team.
We will build a set of diversity expectations to ensure there is increased and fair representation of BIPOC across all channels including but not limited to: partners, talent, advertising campaigns, influencers, collaborators, internships, and hiring opportunities.
Effective immediately, safe spaces for dialogue are in place with the goal to break down barriers and build community inside the company.
These include but are not limited to: hosting digital roundtables and town halls with the goal of listening, learning, and building empathy.
Fossil Group employees can request a 2:1 matching donation(s) to any organization(s) of their choosing.
Fossil Group will contribute to the Equal Justice Initiative and Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation. Both of these organizations provide valuable resources to bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.
The Fossil Foundation, will grant to Black Youth Project 100. BYP100 is a national, member-based organization of Black 18- to 35-year-old activists and organizers, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people.
