Fossil at NYFW Spring 2017

New York Fashion Week has taken a completely different spin for the Spring 2017 season. Technology and the cultural landscape have influenced brands to put together experiences (instead of presentations) more than ever before. Editors and influencers might be the ones in the audience, but with Instagram Stories, Snapchat and live streams EVERYONE has a ticket to the shows. Check out the highlights of our fun-filled NYFW weekend below.

Last Thursday, Fossil took part in Refinery29’s 29Room experiential “Art & Fashion Funhouse.” Our room showcased the power of Fossil Q smartwatches. An infinity mirror reflected colorful patterned reflections inspiring guests to stay active and curious.

Camp Fossil Event at Fossil 5th Avenue

Fans lined up outside our 5th Avenue store to meet Fossil Kin Jamie Chung on Sunday morning. The actress and blogger posed with fans and shared her favorite #CampFossil pieces from fall. To celebrate, we treated customers to s’mores cookies, sips and sparked their creativity with a DIY embroidery activity.

Opening Ceremony Spring 2017

The Opening Ceremony Spring 2017 collection symbolized a “pageant of the people.” Creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon celebrated the multicultural American immigrant in a 'live show' narrated by comedians Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein. Statement-making Fossil x Opening Ceremony bangle watches were styled over long sleeve colorblock knit dresses for a graphic, yet relaxed spring look.
