US Returns & Exchanges

 

Fossil is committed to making your shopping experience a success and is offering free returns and exchanges. If you are not 100% satisfied with your online purchase, we will accept returns of unworn merchandise for up to 90 days from purchase for a full refund or exchange (except PayPal orders which cannot be exchanged, only returned for a refund). Proof of purchase or packing slip invoice is required for reimbursement of the full purchase price. In all cases, refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.

All online orders must be returned via the method described below.

Processing a Return or Exchange with Packing Slip

The packing slip received in your shipment includes a return / exchange form and shipping label for your convenience. If you retained these forms, please follow the instructions below to process your return:

A.     Securely pack your item(s) in your original box or another box. Ensure labels are removed if you use the original box.

B.     Fill in the “RETURN DETAIL” page of your packing slip. In the items list, write a return reason code (provided on the form) and the quantity for each item from the order that is being returned.

Return reasons are as follows:

  1. Size too small
  2. Size too big
  3. Overall fit issue
  4. Damaged / Defective
  5. Color faded / Discolored
  6. Not as pictured
  7. Order delayed
  8. Damaged in transit
  9. Duplicate style / shipment
  10. General return / Gift

C.     If you are returning the items for EXCHANGE, fill out the exchange section of the “RETURN DETAIL.” Include the style number(s) for the item(s) you would like to receive.

D.     Put the “RETURN DETAIL” page into the box before sealing it.

E.     Seal the package.

F.     At the bottom of the shipping label, indicate that you are returning for a refund or exchange by circling the proper response where it says “IS EXCHANGE NEEDED?”

G.     Affix the return shipping label on the outside of the box.

When processing your return, we will first refund any Fossil gift card used, then we will refund any other forms of payment used to place the original order. When processing your exchange, we will first give you a full refund to the original form of payment, then a new order will be placed for the exchange and charged to the original form of payment. In the event the item you want in exchange for your original purchase is not available you will be notified via email.

 

Returns or Exchanges without Packing Slip

If you do not have your original "RETURN DETAIL" form or shipping label, you can still return or exchange your items using one of the options below:

 

Use your own shipping method

We highly recommend using a shipper who provides a tracking number so you can track your shipment. Please be sure to retain this tracking number for your records. Fossil is not responsible for packages lost in transit if sent via a non-trackable carrier.

Gift Cards Return Policy

Fossil Gift Cards and Fossil eGift Cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law.

 

Personalized & Customized Items Return Policy

International Order Returns

Returns policies for orders shipped internationally can be found on our International Orders page. For returns or exchanges from military addresses outside of the United States, the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with return shipping.
