WARRANTY INFORMATION

Your Fossil watch is warranted by Fossil (UK) Ltd for a period of two [2] years from the original date of purchase. Under the terms and conditions, your Fossil (UK) Ltd warranty covers mechanical and manufacturing defects. A proof of purchase is required to validate your warranty which can be in the form of a copy of the online order confirmation, purchase receipt, or a retailer dated and stamped warranty booklet.

During the warranty period, the movement, hands, and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. A covered component will be repaired free of charge in the first instance and in the event that we cannot repair, the watch will be replaced free of charge if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.

In case of replacement, Fossil (UK) Ltd. cannot guarantee that you will receive the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value or similar style will be provided.

The warranty does not cover;

  • Glass, strap or bracelet
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage unless marked water-resistant (5 ATM or above)
  • Indirect or consequential damage resulting from the defects, inaccuracy or inoperativeness of the watch

This warranty is void if the item has been damaged by unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship, or a valid proof of purchase is not included.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Your Fossil Leather item is covered by a limited warranty issued by Fossil (UK) Ltd for a period of one [1] year from the original date of purchase. Our limited warranty covers you against defects in material or workmanship. A proof of purchase is required to validate your warranty which can be a copy of the online order confirmation or a purchase receipt.

This warranty is void if the leather product has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship, or a valid proof of purchase is not included.

At this time, Fossil will not repair damaged leather products, we will replace them if the conditions of this warranty are met.

 

WARRANTY SERVICE DETAILS

Once your product is examined and a defect is found due to manufacturer's workmanship, we will replace your product. In case of replacement, Fossil (UK) Ltd cannot guarantee that you will receive the same item. If a direct replacement is not available an item of equal value will be provided based on the purchase price paid.

If your item is in warranty and there is a fault in manufacturer's workmanship, please send your leather item and a copy of your proof of purchase to the following address;

Along with your item, please include the following information;

  • Name
  • Full address
  • Daytime contact telephone number
  • Email address
  • Where your item was purchased from
  • Details of the defect
  • A copy of your proof of purchase

Please do not send your original packaging, as it will not be returned. Fossil (UK) Ltd. highly recommends you insure your parcel and adequately protect the item during shipment. Fossil (UK) Ltd. is not responsible for product lost or damaged during shipment.

A proof of purchase is required to validate your warranty which can be in the form of a copy of the online order confirmation or a purchase receipt.

This warranty is void if the item has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship, or a valid proof of purchase is not included.

If covered by the warranty your item will be repaired free of charge in the first instance and in the event that we cannot repair, will be replaced free of charge if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. In case of replacement, Fossil cannot guarantee that you will receive the same item of jewellery. If a direct replacement is not available an item of equal value will be provided based on the purchase price paid.

GENERAL

The above warranties and remedies are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, terms of conditions, express, implied or statutory, as to any matter whatsoever, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, satisfactory quality, title, and non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed by Fossil (UK) Ltd. Fossil (UK) Ltd. shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of this product, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or any other theory, even if Fossil (UK) Ltd. has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any limited remedy specified herein is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose. Fossil's entire liability shall be limited to replacement or repair or refund of the purchase price paid, at Fossil's sole option.

Some countries, states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and exclusions may be limited in their application to you. When implied warranties may not be excluded in their entirety, they will be limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which may vary from country to country. In the UK, nothing in this warranty will affect your statutory rights.

This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorized Fossil (UK) Ltd. sales or service agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
